I suspect this happens for other kinds of input filters as well, but that should be checked. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 65017 *** (In reply to V Stuart Foote from comment #2) Bug 65017 is about preferring the current module over a file's extension. This bug is about a different scenario; and, in fact - here we actually see the opposite behavior than bug 65017: If you open a PDF via File | Recent in Writer, the document will be opened in Draw - not in the current module. So, related, but not a dupe I think. However - if it's agreed to make bug 65017 about preferring the last import filter + module the user has chosen, then - do mark this is as a dupe, but also let us please rephrase the title of 65017 accordingly and add a clarifying comment then. Hmm, exactly the issue of bug 65017, *and* it multiple dupes. File -> Recently Used: a file opened in some module uses the Document Service for the module with focus, and not the module that the recent had been opened with. Enhancement is to record the last module used into the MRU history (that controls the MRU file list, and thumbnails on the SC when visible). I'll let you restore this to duplicate. (In reply to V Stuart Foote from comment #4) Instead of arguing - I'll just ask Alexander for permission to rephrase things on his bug. |
