Screenshot with PowerPoint in presentation mode
Confirmed using LO 7.5.0.0.alpha0+ (28daee8a3252e03a67484dc8d3dd26fd73af4826) / Ubuntu. In earlier versions, eg. 4.x the video doesn't even play, probably due to some codec or multimedia lib issue. We can probably assume this was never okay. Created attachment 181501 [details]
Alternate, more complex, sample document (PPTX)
I wonder whether / believe that this, somewhat more complex, sample
document with two slides including a background video is about the
same issue - if possibly from a slightly different angle.
Still reproducible in Version: 7.6.0.0.alpha1+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 244f9cf66bc36f229ccb5712bc8d80166b92266d CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.10; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: es-ES (es_ES.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Still an issue in: Version: 24.2.1.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: db4def46b0453cc22e2d0305797cf981b68ef5ac CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 22631; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded - - - I have 2 monitors, so when I pressed F5: - 1st screen had presentation playing. - 2nd screen had "Current Slide" + "Next Slide" thumbnails playing. - - - In attachment 181397 [details] (comment 0): Both screens acted different: - 1st = only background video playing - 2nd = background video playing + constant white screen flashing of "Dev->QA->Prod" - - - In attachment 181501 [details] (comment 3): Both screens were the same: - Background video was playing. - Could see animations moving/playing above the video. - Constant black rectangle flashing. - - - So both attachments were still busted, but in slightly different ways. Seems like there's constant flickering between the background (video) + foreground layers. |
