The Font Color section contains these two sentences: Click to apply the current font color to the selected characters. You can also click here, and then drag a selection to change the text color. These two sentences do not clearly explain the process for using the font color feature. The first sentence makes it seem as though there is a single click process. The second may cause a user to believe that they can drag a color onto the button to change the font color. not sure either why "Background Color" is talking about paragraphs :) (In reply to sdc.blanco from comment #0) > https://help.libreoffice.org/7.4/en-US/text/swriter/main0202.html >... > Sentence 1 (from 2004) seems to suggest that one can click the Font Color > icon, and the drag a selection to change the font color. But this does not work. it does actually work ! the proper explanation being here : https://help.libreoffice.org/latest/ro/text/shared/guide/text_color.html >... > Sentence 2 (also from 2004) suggests that a Font color toolbar will be > opened, but there is no Font Color toolbar. the terminology in use is actually to call it "toolbar" https://help.libreoffice.org/latest/ro/text/shared/00/00000001.html#toolbars in our case, it's a bit misleading since the "palette" toolbar does not have its own menu entry in View - Toolbars. |
