In 7.2.4.1 there is a (new) issue with file history and old (Samba) network shares:

If a file in the history list points to a (temporarily) disconnected network share, you will run into a timeout: LibreOffice freezes for a few minutes.
You should be able to delete the history or set the timeout somewhere -
10 seconds should probably be enough anyway.

Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

Problem is still available - but much better with only some seconds timeout on -my- system.
