When I use Arabic layout almost all format shortcuts works except Bold (Ctrl+B) I don't know why maybe just missed.  I test it in writer, clac, impess & draw.

I use:
Version: 7.2.3.2 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 20(Build:2)
CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb)
Locale: ar-OM (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Ubuntu package version: 1:7.2.3~rc2-0ubuntu0.20.04.1~lo1
Calc: threaded

Do you mean an Arabic keyboard layout? Arabic UI for LibreOffice?

I found a way to reproduce this bug. I am using kde desktop, so I install libreoffice-kf5 as UI engine. The problem in libreoffice-kf5 becuase when I remove it and install libreoffice-gtk3 the problem is gone.


To test the problem use kde desktop and libreoffice-kf5.

I have voidlinux kde, i have check for libreoffice-kf5 and its NOT installed.

the shortcut CTRL-B works as expected.
