Description Daniel Hevron Pereh 2021-11-17 07:54:54 UTC
Description:
When setting libreoffice to RTL locale in the settings and restarting, It automatically updates all styles to apply RTL text direction. furthermore, the RTL button is selected by default in the top ribbon. this is the case with Writer!

Impress does not follow these rules. although the locale has changed, all styles are set to LTR, and the LTR button in the ribbon is selected.
The situation forces RTL users to manually change each style to RTL every time he creates a new project.

thank you very much for your hard work!

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to settings -> language settings -> languages
2. Under Formats, change "Locale setting" to Hebrew. apply and restart.
3. Go to Impress.
4. Type :)

Actual Results:
Styles are set to LTR and LTR button is selected in the top ribbon.

Expected Results:
Styles are set to RTL and RTL button is selected in the top ribbon. (Just like in Writer)

Reproducible: Always

Hossein, I thought you are interested in this topic. I wonder if Draw/Impress has true paragraph/character styles, searching BZ for this I stumbled over the loosely related bug 40871.

Confirmed.

What about the other LO apps? Or should this bug be only about Impress/Draw?
