See https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/100024 for an ongoing effort (and discussion) on that.

In the comments here https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/100024 someone mention a "UNO connection trick" to give LibreOffice a quickstart like functionality. Would someone be kind enough to explain how I can do it (as a normal user who doesn't know to code)?

Sorry for the long wait André, just saw the question.

I don't think it would be easy to use the "UNO connection trick" for the person who does not know how to code. However, I've created a repository with necessary code and some instructions: https://github.com/Rogach/libreoffice-termination-blocker
