New word document on Microsoft Office, then Insert the page number in the header or footer, right-click to set the page number format, and select "- 1 -" format, and Save as docx document and close, and Open the document with LibreOffice 6.4.4.2, and it is found that "-" disappears, and the page number has gray shadow

I confirm, that dashes get lost in

Version: 7.0.0.0.beta2 (x64)
Build ID: 1c213561a365b5666167321de68c9977500c9612
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 18363; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-GB
Calc: CL

The grey shadow only marks, that there is a page number field. Print or PDF export should be without shadow.

It's not possible to create such a page number field in writer. Don't know, if this is another bug or the solution for this one.

Thank you for confirming the problem. I tried to use 7.0.0.beta2 (x64) again and found that there is still a problem.

Thanks Timur!
You better describe the problem.
Comment 7 Dieter 2022-06-20 06:27:21 UTC
Still present in

Version: 7.3.4.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 728fec16bd5f605073805c3c9e7c4212a0120dc5
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: de-DE
Calc: CL

Tested with attachment 162346 [details].
But not related to page header. In Word I've copied header, pasted it into text area, saved the document as docx and opened it in Writer.
