I confirm the described behaviour. More simple steps to reproduce 1. Open document 2. Change paragraph style: Area => Color 3. Apply list to that paragraph I don't think, that this is a bug, but let's ask design team Created attachment 151702 [details] Screenshot showing the issue When you create a style with indentation, like the quotation, it also applies the fill color only for the actual paragraph. Lists add margins so I'd say it's the expected behavior. Related issues are bug 94562, bug 83532, and bug 114287 ("paragraph style overrule list style settings" contradicts my upper statement). Regina, Michael: What do you think? Double checked the behavior with MS Word. Behavior is the same and round trip works. => WFM No further opinion so resolving as WFM. The behavior is in accordance with competitors and round-trip works. One workaround that might do what OP wants is to create a section, and set the section background colour. |
