Sample ODT

In the attached document, the text wraps around the frame as expected, however, the table does not, and is partially hidden under the frame. It would be useful to have an option to prevent overlap.

This is somewhat of an interoperability issue, in Word only floating tables allow overlap, and even there it's configurable by a setting: Allow overlap.

In Word the setting is also part of the general layout options.

Being able to import/export this setting would simplify conversion between ODF and DOC(X) formats.

Bug 117134 is an example where such a setting could be useful.

A generalized handling of objects like MSO does for tables with tblOvelap tblPr [1] might be nice, but then question of extending ODF to encode the objects into the documents without corrupting the other elements.

If we can't hold / exchange the information, seems no reason to attempt add it.

This sounds like DOCX bug 76022. Sure, here we are talking about native ODT format, but the result is the same, and surely creating ODT files that have similar characteristics to DOCX is ideal. So I'll just make it a duplicate.
