Description Gerhard Weydt 2018-04-19 23:34:11 UTC
Creating a database document with Firebird database fails, starting with version 5.3.7.2 and also in later versions, but still working in 5.2.3.3.

Steps to reproduce:
Enable experimental features.
Create a new database document, choosing Firebird as database engine
Registering database or not and continuing with table wizard or not has no effect.
After clicking "Finish" and choosing path and document name there's no answer. File is created, but has 2 KB, in contrast to 43 KB in versions 5.2.3.3 and prior.
Closing LibreOffice and opening the file - perhaps with another version of LibreOffice - changes nothing.

Tested on Windows 10.

This is not only a problem for those who want to create new database documents, but also for testing and checking the migration program from HSQLDB to Firebird; we have to be able to check that Firebird supplies features we think are still missing in the migration program.

I must withdraw this bug report. I forgot to test it with master, where it works.
