Odd palette, none of those look to be "brand" colors. Not at all clear what the shapes would symbolize. And just to be clear, when you say "home page" are you intending the StartCenter on launch of LibreOffice, or the www.libreoffice.org project home page? There are 6 elements which denote the 6 modules in the start page namely Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw, Math and Database. Colour used are the representing colours for these modules. Symbols stand for variety of modules held together as a suite I am talking about this screen in pic below https://imgur.com/LGX5Id4 Hi, The image on the start center was elected on a public voting.
