Repro. Canon LBP7018C Let's call this an enhancement. Arch Linux 64-bit Version 3.6.7.2 (Build ID: e183d5b) Arch Linux 64-bit Version: 6.1.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: c6a23023150c164a19236139fa413d43006ce21c CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 4.15; UI render: default; VCL: kde4; Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI.UTF-8); Calc: group Built on February 11th 2018 Just been trying out dark them in 7.5.5.2 which is much improved from 7.1, however it creates a new issue with print preview which is closely linked to issues this bug raises. There are many reasons why you might want to edit a document white on black, but print it black on white. The Dark theme in LibreOffice allows you to do this, but now means that print previews is even further from a realistic depiction of what document will look like when printed (or turned into a PDF). In the same as as if a document is set to print in black and white print preview should 'preview' what it will look like in black and white, if a document is going to print black text on white background, that how it should show up in print preview. Currently the colour scheme in print preview matches that of normal document editor. Currently, if you want to see how the document your editing in a dark theme (white on black) looks when export/printed, you have to create pdf, print it, or change your Colour Scheme Settings. You should be able to just go print preview, and LibreOffice will re-renders document in colour scheme it will print in. You can then switch back and carry on editing in one click. Dark mode is going to make this functionality much more important, as you can't just invert screen colour to swop between views. LibreOffice correctly inverts black on white text, but leaves text on colour background as is (e.g. shaded cells of table). This means invert colours give you different wrong view of final document colours. |
