Yep, it is a bit convoluted. Here is a video tutorial for reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7n8Psg8yxPE Thanks for the youtube video. I had already seen it plus a lot of other web snippets, the best being from OpenOffice. It does not fix the problem that producing labels for the first time requires several hours just to understand those convolutions that you mention. I think you could create a TV show to see who could do it the fastest on the first attempt. I would recommend glabel rather than any video, until the workflow is made simple and transparent. *** Bug 114578 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** (In reply to Buovjaga from comment #1) > Yep, it is a bit convoluted. I attempted the same steps in the video, but was unable to recreate the results in version 5.4.3.2. I will try again with the latest update, and report back. It does work correctly; however, only the first entry actually shows up in the document. I suspect that two different things may be confused here. One is labels - many sets of fields on a single sheet of paper. The other is mailmerge - one set of fields on many documents. I was able to produce a sheet of labels, with a different address on each label. However, I could not omit blank fields. I have not tried mailmerge. I just used mail merge to address envelopes with LO 7.0.2 in Linux Mint 20. It works perfectly. It would be improved if the fields displayed using the data immediately hid the blank lines. I thought the 'Don't show blank lines' checkbox had no effect and spent an hour looking for a method of suppressing them. I decided to print to file as a single file and saw that blank line suppression had been working all the time. Great. Resolving this issue as NAB/WF. (In reply to Buovjaga from comment #1) > Yep, it is a bit convoluted.
