Presently its not an easy task to compress or resize all images in a document, as a user has to do it manually for each image, so i'm proposing we add checkboxes in the Compress Image dialog to apply the same compression and/or resolution settings to either all images of the same type or all document images.

Compressing all images at once is already implemented in presentations (Impress).

How @Yousuf Philips (jay) imagines it in the mockup would be very practical especially for larger documents with many images.

This is a nice, clean issue that is basically a duplicate of bug 34133. Before implementing a "compress all images" option it would be good to fix some of the worst compression bug situations - so that a user doesn't unknowingly mess up an image that he isn't visually working on. Also, make sure that a compress-all function checks to make sure that it is actually compressing and not enlarging, since "compression" seems to be actually implemented as "resizing". For example, a simple low DPI image compressed to 300dpi would enlarge the image actually.
