Open a document and you don't see the appbar/toolbar.

Android Version: 4.2.2 API 17

It is probably caused by patch: https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/#/c/35768/

Ximeng Zu committed a patch related to this issue.
It has been pushed to "master":

It will be available in 5.4.0.

The patch should be included in the daily builds available at
http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/ in the next 24-48 hours. More
