Description Cor Nouws 2016-09-21 06:32:32 UTC
In View > Master Slide one can edit the styles of the various placeholders.
Not the style Subtitle. It is available in Styles and Formatting, but when one sets all the styles in Master slide and do not notice that the Subtitle is not showing up there, the result when choosing a layout with Subtitle may raise questions.

new as per bug 102302

As suggested in bug 102302 comment 8, the most ideal thing would be to add a first line to the 'object area for autolayouts' placeholder textbox which has the text 'Click to edit the subtitle', the this textbox's dimension is what is used in the Title Slide layout.

Still a bit vague, but maybe the easiest thing to do at the moment yes.

Correction: as this textbox's

Alot easier than displaying another placeholder for subtitle and having uses modify its dimension to be exactly the same size as the outline placeholder.
