Hello!
I think that menu point "ownCloud" (1.png) in Libreoffice on Android has to be renamed to something more neutral, like "Remote server".
First, main developer of ownCloud has gone and created Nextcloud, and future of ownCloud doesn't seem so bright because of it (https://owncloud.org/blog/owncloud-statement-concerning-the-formation-of-nextcloud-by-frank-karlitschek/). And, this naming looks like preference one service to another ones, and it looks strange.
Second, LibreOffice on desktop platforms has 2 menu points, "File" - "Open remote file..." and "File" - "Save to remote server..." Renaming of the point to "Remote server" will unify these terms.

According to http://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/core/android/source/res/values/strings.xml#56, the string "ownCloud" is still there.
=> NEW

Michael: is there some main/ref dev for Android part to give advice or is it a UX-team concern?

Oh - this makes good sense; unfortunately IIRC the ownCloud integration is done with a client side library that is (presumably) ownCloud / Nextcloud specific - so ... what to call it - I have no idea.

Remote server sounds sensible to me - though I guess we support just these two.

Patches welcome etc. =)

It will be available in 5.3.0.

The patch should be included in the daily builds available at

Affected users are encouraged to test the fix and report feedback.

Since it only concerns master releases, no need to backport to 5.2 branch.
