Impress - KDE connect Laserpointer - Laptop view
An image of my laptop screen using KDE connect on LibreOffice Impress.
When the 'Laserpointer' function is used, the ring is only displayed on the laptop screen.

Impress - KDE connect Laserpointer - beamer view
An image of the beamer using KDE connect on LibreOffice Impress.
When the 'Laserpointer' function is used, the ring is NOT displayed on the beamer.
Laser pointer is not supported in Impress, no wonder it does not work with KDE connect either. Maybe implementing that feature will make this work magically, but for now I'm setting this as depending on that, in case more work is needed. It sorta already works: When you mirror the display 1:1 to the beamer (and not use it as extended display) the laserpointer is already usable. That way you can not see the slides notes though. |
