Description Telesto 2021-07-14 17:49:20 UTC
Description:
UI: Ability to Changing Default PS style language from statusbar

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Writer (assuming UK-English locale)
2. You want to write a letter in German (with German spell checker)
3. You change the language in the status bar (bottom).

Actual Results:
Change this setting Direct formatting language on the paragraph style.

Expected Results:
The current is not 'wrong' as such. However I realized I actually intended to change the language on the Default Paragraph Style.

Not including a Char Locale as paragraph direct format.

Isn't it possible to add an entry being able to change the Default Paragraph Style Language too?

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

If your current paragraph is Text Body, for example, you change this PS per direct formatting and keep what is defined on Default as well on other paragraphs. Works for me.

Somewhere else we discuss to rework the whole workflow and introduce a dedicated dialog. The whole thing is admittedly a bit bulky.
