Current default stacked area chart from Calc
No strong objection but please also consider bar charts where numbers are typically placed above the bars. Tünde Tóth committed a patch related to this issue. It has been pushed to "master": https://git.libreoffice.org/core/commit/be936c5896045794b251a63ab1175ac06a36eee5 tdf#130242 chart: default center label placement in stacked area charts It will be available in 7.0.0. The patch should be included in the daily builds available at https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/ in the next 24-48 hours. More information about daily builds can be found at: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Testing_Daily_Builds Affected users are encouraged to test the fix and report feedback. (In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #2) > No strong objection but please also consider bar charts where numbers are > typically placed above the bars. @Heiko: thanks for your review! Unfortunately, missed that MSO does the same, and LO has already done in the case of stacked bar charts for readability. |
