Bug 84590

Summary: EDITING - incorrect sequencing by copy dragging cells / fill handle
Product: LibreOffice Reporter: Orwel <orwel01>
Component: CalcAssignee: Not Assigned <libreoffice-bugs>
Status: RESOLVED DUPLICATE
Severity: normal Keywords: bibisectRequest, regression
Priority: high
Version: 4.3.0.0.beta1
Hardware: Other
OS: All

Description Orwel 2014-10-02 09:35:35 UTC
Example:
1. Put a number "1" or a date "1.10.2014" in cell A1.
2. Set a formula "=A1" in cell A2.
3. Use the mouse to mark cells A1 and A2 and continue dragging to cells A3 and A4

By holding the mouse while dragging (i. e. while you hold the left mouse key and drag) you can see sCalc is showing "2" on cells A3,A4, "3" on cells A5,A6 what is indeed sCalc should do... but when you release the mouse button you get a "1" in all cells.

This was not a behaviour of previous version of LO (I really can not remember which version worked correctly as the last one, but I am sure 3.x did).

Hi Orwel, we should let status UNCONFIRMED if reporting new bug. Someone, other than reporter, will set NEW if same problem confirmed. But let status NEW since I also confirm this behavior.

I guess it's copy drag / fill handle.

Reproduced with: LO 4.3.0.0.beta1, 4.3.2.2 under Ubuntu 12.04 x86

Not reproduced with: LO 4.2.6.3, 4.2.7.0.0+ Time: 2014-09-29_15:46:48
