After inserting a comment, one cannot relocate the comment arrow to point at any other corner than the default, top right corner of the cell.

Hi Wolter,

Do I get it right that you want to be able move the comment marker different corners.
Could you pls explain why?
Thanks,
Cor

Hi Cor,

Yes you get it right indeed!

Well to begin with, comments shouldn't overlap content, when possible; having a comment on a cell renders the cells to the top right of it unreadable, and moving just the comment box will make the arrow take awkward shapes.

Another reason is that it makes the feature look just half-done; lacking of quality in open-source software is the greatest reason why most people prefer proprietary software: they are not willing to make the move until its a win-win situation for them. (Need I not remind you a lot of people don't _buy_ the proprietary software they use.)

To add one more, if MS Excel has this feature, it should be in LibreOffice also--this office suite should not lag behind; if MS Excel does not have this feature, then implementing it puts LibreOffice a step ahead, in a sense.

Thanks usefull idea from that alone.

Set to enhancement.
And the version to the olders LibreOffice, since it's a new idea (for this suite anyways).

Cor
